Earth Auger 150 mm (T10–T20)

The 150 mm earth auger is a hydraulically powered attachment designed for Tauros T08 to T20 mini excavators. With a 150 mm drilling diameter, it's especially well suited for jobs requiring a narrow, precise hole – for example fence post installation, planting, foundations for light structures, or other earthworks. The hydraulic drive runs off the mini excavator's auxiliary hydraulic circuit, enabling smooth drilling at low speed with high torque. The reference design operates at a torque of 500 Nm, a speed of 0–50 rpm, and a working pressure of 160 bar.

Compared to the more common 200 mm version, the smaller 150 mm diameter means less excavated soil and a more precise hole, which is an advantage especially when installing smaller posts or wherever an unnecessarily large hole isn't needed.

The narrow bore is ideal for fence posts, retaining structures, small piles, and other applications requiring a precisely defined hole.

500 Nm torque
High torque helps the auger penetrate common soil types while maintaining a low, well-controlled rotation speed. The reference unit achieves a maximum of 50 rpm.

900 mm working length
The long auger bit allows for sufficiently deep holes for most common fencing and garden applications. In the reference design, the auger bit itself is 900 mm long, with the assembly's overall length around 1,300 mm.

The compact design suits smaller and mid-size TAUROS mini excavators and significantly expands their use beyond standard excavation work.
